BMW S 1000 RR E20 FAQ

Is BMW S 1000 RR E20 compatible?

Yes. BMW confirmed the S 1000 RR is E20 compatible since April 2023. The fuel system is designed for 20% ethanol-blended petrol.

Does E20 affect BMW S 1000 RR mileage?

Expect a 3-5% mileage drop on E20 compared to E10. Ethanol has lower energy content per litre. The S 1000 RR's ECU is calibrated to keep this loss minimal.
