Are Yamaha bikes E20 compatible?

Yamaha confirmed E20 compatibility from May 2023. Their Blue Core engine technology handles ethanol blends reliably. FZ-S V4, FZ-X, MT 15, R15 V4, and scooters like Fascino, Aerox, and Ray ZR are all E20 ready.

Does E20 affect Yamaha R15 V4 performance?

The R15 V4 runs on E20 without issues. E20's higher octane (RON 95 vs E10's RON 91) can reduce knock in the R15's high-compression engine. Mileage drops by about 3-4%, but throttle response stays sharp.

Which Yamaha scooters support E20 fuel?

The Fascino 125, Aerox 155, and Ray ZR 125 are E20 compatible from May 2023. Yamaha also offers the FZ-S Fi Hybrid, which pairs E20 petrol with a mild hybrid system for improved fuel efficiency. The XSR 155 is also confirmed E20 ready.
