Kawasaki E20 FAQ
Are Kawasaki bikes E20 compatible?
Kawasaki confirmed E20 compatibility for its entire Indian lineup from April 2023. This covers the Ninja range (300, 500, 650, ZX-4R, 1000SX), Versys 650, Z-series nakeds (Z650, Z900), and the retro W175.
Can I use E20 in Kawasaki Ninja 300?
Yes. The Ninja 300 is E20 compatible from April 2023. Kawasaki ensured all India-sold models, from the entry-level W175 to the high-performance Ninja 1000SX, can handle 20% ethanol blends.
Does E20 reduce Kawasaki bike power?
Peak power output remains the same on E20-compatible Kawasaki models. E20 has higher octane than E10, which helps in high-compression sport bike engines. Fuel efficiency drops by about 3-5% due to ethanol's lower energy content per litre.
