Honda E20 FAQ
Are Honda two-wheelers E20 compatible?
Honda confirmed E20 compliance for its entire India two-wheeler range from April 2023. Scooters (Activa 6G, Dio, Grazia) and motorcycles (Shine, SP 125, Unicorn, CB350, CB300R) are all covered. Honda also launched the CB300F as a dedicated flex-fuel model that handles up to E85.
Is the Honda Activa E20 ready?
Yes. The Activa 6G, Activa 125, and Activa 110 are all E20 compatible since April 2023. Honda upgraded fuel system materials and ECU calibration for these models during the BS6 Phase 2 transition.
Does E20 affect Honda bike performance?
On E20-compatible Honda models, performance stays consistent. E20's higher octane (RON 95 vs E10's RON 91) can marginally improve combustion efficiency. Mileage drops by about 3-5%, so a Shine 125 returning 60 km/l might deliver 57-58 km/l on E20.
