Are Jawa bikes E20 compatible?

All current Jawa models are E20 compatible from April 2023. This includes the Jawa 350, Jawa 42, and Perak. Jawa operates under Classic Legends alongside BSA and Yezdi. All three brands confirmed E20 compliance across their lineups.

Will E20 petrol harm my Jawa motorcycle?

No. The liquid-cooled 334cc engine in the Jawa 42 and Perak, and the newer engine in the Jawa 350, both use ethanol-resistant fuel system components. Regular servicing at recommended intervals is sufficient.

Does E20 reduce Jawa bike mileage?

Expect roughly a 3-5% mileage reduction. A Jawa 42 returning 35 km/l on E10 might deliver around 33-34 km/l on E20. The engine calibration on post-April 2023 models is tuned to keep this gap small.
