Is E20 petrol safe for Triumph Thruxton?
Confirmed E20 compatible. The Triumph Thruxton has been cleared for 20% ethanol petrol since April 2023.
Will my Thruxton give less mileage on E20?
E20 reduces mileage by roughly 3-5%. The Thruxton's BS6 Phase 2 calibration minimizes this. Higher octane in E20 (RON 95 vs E10's RON 91) helps combustion quality.
Will E20 petrol corrode my Thruxton's parts?
E20 is safe in the Thruxton. The fuel injection system, hoses, and seals are rated for 20% ethanol. Maintain regular oil changes and filter replacements.
